The date, start, finish, time limit and format come from the race rules. The organiser does not publish a distance or gain. The figure of over 100 km and 5,500 m comes from a 2026 race report, and the regional Deník newspaper reported 101.5 km in 2023.
The seven peaks of Beskydská sedmička
The race is named after seven Beskydy summits above 1,000 metres. Since 2012 it has run east to west, in this order:
- Velký Javorový (1,031 m)
- Ropice (1,082 m)
- Travný (1,203 m), traversed rather than summited
- Lysá hora (1,323 m), the highest point of the race
- Smrk (1,276 m)
- Čertův mlýn (1,205 m)
- Radhošť (1,129 m)

The seven heights add up to 8,249 metres, which is why the race was described as the first Beskydy eight-thousander. Before the finish the course also crosses Velký Javorník, which is not one of the seven. The peak order comes from route descriptions. The organiser lists these timed checkpoints: Javorový, Řeka, Morávka, the Travný traverse, Krásná, Lysá hora, Ostravice, Smrk, Čeladná, Pustevny, Ráztoka, Radhošť, Pindula, Padolí and Velký Javorník.
The race was founded by Libor Uher, a climber from Frýdek-Místek who summited K2 in 2007. The first edition in 2010 ran the other way, from Frenštát, and was raced in pairs.

The 2026 edition: a storm on Smrk and a new women's record
The 2026 race started on Friday 28 August at 23:00, so most runners crossed the first summits in the dark. A strong night thunderstorm hit the field on Smrk. Tomáš Maceček won in 10:48:04 and Petra Ševčíková won the women's race in 12:29, a new women's course record according to the race report. Full results are on the timing website.

Sedmička is one of the largest mountain races in Czechia. Deník counted about 3,000 starters in 2023.
What the Sedmička looks like as a relief

The relief is a model of the landscape around the course, 3D printed in matte PLA at real elevations. The route stands out as a raised line in a contrasting colour, so you can follow the whole ridge from Javorový over Lysá hora to Radhošť. The relief is screwed onto a solid wooden base, and we laser engrave your text into its front edge.
Sedmička crosses the whole range, so it covers a large area and individual hills look lower than on a short mountain loop. In the Fine-tune section, lower the Width, which sets how much landscape around the route is shown, to 5% and raise the terrain Height. The relief in the picture uses these settings. Lysá hora and the Ostravice valley then stand out best at the 20 cm size.

FAQ
Where can I download the Beskydská sedmička GPX?
The organiser publishes the course on its route page. You don't need to download it for a relief: open it in 3D straight away.
Is the relief also valid for the 2025 edition?
Yes. According to the organiser, the 2026 course was exactly the same as in 2025, so the same relief works for both years. Put your year in the engraving.
How much does a relief of the Beskydská sedmička cost?
A 10 cm relief costs 1,499 CZK, 15 cm costs 1,749 CZK and 20 cm costs 1,999 CZK. In euros that is €59, €69 and €79. Prices include VAT and the 3D preview is free.
Can I engrave my finish time on the base?
Yes. The front edge fits three lines of 40 characters, for example Beskydská sedmička 2026, your name and your finish time. You see the text in the preview before you order.
How long do production and delivery take?
Every relief is printed, engraved and assembled to order, which takes a few days. We then hand it to Packeta or a courier and send you a tracking link.
